The event takes place at 7 p.m. at the Harmon Field open-air gym. Interested athletes can register for the Hoopz Basketball Tournament for free on the evening of the tournament. This year, it will also have a college bracket for those who have graduated high school and want to participate in the Hoopz tournament.

The Gather Community also has a Glow Night event scheduled at Harmon Field on August 12 at 8 p.m., a free event for the whole family. Glow Night will feature glow-in-the-dark Frisbee golf, a mini-photo shoot by Chasing Light & Co., Open Road Coffee gift cards, free shaved ice provided by Kona Ice, an open gym and much more.

The Gather Community thanks Edney Orthodontics, Big Brothers Big Sisters of WNC, Tryon Presbyterian Church, Chasing Light & Co Photography, Town of Tryon and Polk County Parks & Recreation for sponsoring and supporting youth and family programming in the area.
