LANDRUM – On Saturday, May 6, the 3rd Annual Quilters Rock!—Landrum City Wide Quilt Show will take place throughout downtown Landrum, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Quilts will be on display around downtown Landrum, including at Elaine’s Attic and Landrum Presbyterian Church. Local quilters will present their work at downtown businesses and the open-air market area, weather permitting. Quilters may enter a quilt free of charge.

“We think quilters rock! That’s why we are doing this,” says Kaluahine. ”We also have a group that creates quilts for the Black Mountain Children’s Home that meets the first Saturday of the month at Elaine’s Attic. Feel free to join us, and check out the display of quilts that are being donated.”

Quilting is bigger than ever, and the Quilters Rock event is an excellent opportunity for beginning and long-time quilters to show off their work.

The event is sponsored by the Landrum Area Business Association and the City of Landrum. For any questions, contact Elaine’s Attic at 864-457-1242.
