POLK COUNTY–Polk County Farms recently announced the opening of vendor applications for their upcoming summer farmer’s markets that run from May through October.
The Polk County Farmers Markets in Saluda and Columbus each charge $5 per day or $100 for a dedicated seasonal spot. They are looking for market growers, farmers and local artisans to provide high-quality products and unique experiences for the community.
Vendors who are interested in participating in the summer market season can access the application on their website, polkcountyfarms.org, or pick up a paper copy at any of the winter markets. The application deadline is April 15.
The markets are a great opportunity for vendors to connect with local customers and showcase products. Polk County Farms is committed to supporting local businesses and providing their customers and the community with a diverse selection of fresh produce, handmade goods and locally crafted products.
The Saluda Tailgate Market will run every Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on W. Main St. in downtown Saluda, and the Columbus Farmer’s Market will run every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon on Courthouse Street.
