Remember the initial Blue Zones research? National Geographic and the National Institute on Aging teamed up with Dan Buettner and other longevity researchers to identify five regions of the world where people lived measurably longer, happier, and healthier lives.

Building on their findings through additional research and years of study led to the “Blue Zones Project”. It is an evidence-based, community-wide approach to health and well-being. Best of all, it’s a model that can be replicated in interested communities around the world and the US.

If you’re interested in living a longer and healthier life, this is the program for you. Come and learn about the Blue Zones, principles inspired by the people who have lived the longest that you can apply to your own life, how Brevard became a Blue Zones Project, and how Saluda might move forward with a similar project.
