In Polk County District Oct. 13, 2021, with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 192 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court. 

The following persons were convicted of a crime: 

Franklin J. Abernathy was convicted of driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation. Abernathy was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.

Jason Wesley Barnwell was convicted of assault on government official/employee. Barnwell was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 24 hours of community service and court costs. 

Matthew Figueroa-Soto was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Figueroa-Soto was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, $101 fine and court costs. 

Sarah Grace Fowler was convicted of fictitious information to officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear on misdemeanor. Fowler was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served. 

Kenneth Dale Greene was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Greene was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs. 

Andrew Dustin Heinrich was convicted of resisting public officer. Heinrich was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served. 

Jordin Kelly Kendrick was convicted of carrying a concealed gun. Kendrick was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served. 

Thomas Matthew Murphy was convicted of failure to notify DMV. Murphy was to pay court costs. 

Ryan Peter Pflumm was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Pflumm was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 and court costs. 

Suzy Bible Sanders was convicted of felony larceny. Sanders was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation and court costs. 

Alfred Sellers III was convicted of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Sellers was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for time served. 

Thomas Monroe Shipman was convicted of failure to appear. Shipman was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation and court costs. 

Melissa F. Templeton was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Templeton was to pay court costs. 

Bobby Javen Torrance was convicted of reckless driving-wanton disregard. Torrance was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs. 

Jeremy Vernon Troxel was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired and carrying a concealed weapon. Troxel was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs. 

Angue L. Weiner was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Weiner was fined $96 and court costs. 

Brett Menefee Wilkes was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Wilkes was fined $100 and court costs.
