Every Polk County School Board member should read the article written by Larry McDermott that published in the September 5 edition of the Tryon Daily Bulletin.

Thank you, Mr. McDermott, you got it just right.

At one time, I was very proud of the Polk County school system. Being rated 2nd in North Carolina. Now, it is difficult to be that proud.

Superintendent Aaron Greene has done a good job of making everyone aware of the problems with Covid.

Last year, we did not need to worry if our children were safe. Everyone had to wear a mask.

This year, the Board voted politically, without thinking of the safety of the children.

Look where we are now Board members. 

In the future, please remember to vote for people who will put our children first.
