Polk County District Court results

In Polk County District Court at 2 p.m. on May 26, 2021, with Judge Kim Justice presiding, 51 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court. 

The following persons were convicted of a crime: 

Courtney Price Carter was convicted of driving while impaired. Carter was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs.

Max Perkins Gantt II was convicted of speeding 97 mph in a 65 mph zone. Gantt was fined $50 and court costs. 

Steve Ray Gille was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Gille was fined $40 and court costs. 

Kelly Michelle Godfrey was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Godfrey was fined $40 and court costs. 

Guillermo Jose Hodgson was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Hodgson was fined $40 and court costs. 

Robert McMillan Kearse was convicted of intoxicated and disruptive. Kearse was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served. 

Jason Scott Miller was convicted of resisting public officer. Miller was sentenced to one day in jail with credit. 

Jack Combs Mumpower Jr. was convicted of a rear seat belt violation. Mumpower was fined $50.
