Author Tom J. Ervin to speak at Lanier Library

Author Tom J. Ervin will talk about his new book Earth Day Every Day Tuesday, June 23, 3:00 p.m. This virtual book event will be hosted by Lanier Library on its Facebook page. During the interactive program, Ervin will examine the causes of climate change and offer proposals for practical solutions.

Ervin served two terms in the South Carolina House of Representatives and later was elected as the youngest circuit court judge in the state’s history. He currently serves on the South Carolina Public Service Commission representing Greenville and Spartanburg Counties.

After retiring from the bench, Ervin served as the first President of Foothills Community Foundation and then served as CEO for Foothills United Way. Ervin currently resides in Greenville, SC.
