This needle felted painting class involves using fibers to create a “painting” of a pet photo pre-selected by the student. The students will start with a prefelt background and then use fibers to create colors by overlaying and blending colors to get shades.

Each student will create their own “painting” to take home at the end of the class.

There will be a fee for the class, which includes all supplies.

Students must provide a photo (headshot only) of the animal they wish to use for their needle felted painting to ensure that the appropriate colored fibers are available. Photos of cats, dogs, or horses are preferred.

Photos can be provided via email or dropped off at FENCE, and should be 8-by-10 inches if possible to ensure the best detail.

Space is limited for this class and preregistration for this event is required.

FENCE is located at 3381 Hunting Country Road, Tryon. For more information about this or upcoming events, people may call FENCE at 828-859-9021 or email info@fence.org.
