Foothills Equestrian Nature Center will host a free family concert featuring Asheville Musician Doug McElvy from the band Red Clay Revival at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 15, in the Great Room.

McElvy, an American songwriter/musician, whose roots come from the deep South, will perform music that incorporates Americana, bluegrass, soul, rock and more.

The musician was born in the soul-basted countryside of Alabama, and was brought to the heart of the Blue Ridge mountains to marinade and mature as a member of Red Clay Revival.
