Columbus Fire Department barbecue, gospel sing to take place June 30 through July 3

The annual fundraiser for the Columbus Fire Department will be held June 30 through July 3rd in downtown Columbus.
The event will feature Southern gospel music. The fire department will sell barbecue, hot dog and hamburger plates for lunch and up to around 9 p.m. each night, while gospel music will be performed each night at the adjoining Veterans Park (located at Gibson and Ward streets) at 7 p.m.

People are asked to bring lawn chairs. There are no admission charges for the concerts.
In case of rain, the event will be held inside the fire department.
