The community is invited to drop by to meet newcomer Dr. Vinit Agrawal and the community’s top choice of physician, Doctor of Osteopathy Jeffrey Viar, as well as other providers with Foothills Medical Associates in Columbus on Tuesday, June 26.
The primary care office, located at 801 W. Mills St, Suite C, Columbus, will host a chance to meet medical providers and welcome Agrawal to the community. Tours and refreshments will also be available.
Foothills Medical Associates, a member of the St. Luke’s Physician Network, provides primary and preventive care to patients of all ages. Led by Viar as medical director, the Foothills team also includes physician assistants Janet Howell and Mike Bradey.
A mainstay in the community since 2000, Viar was recently voted as first place winner of the 2018 Best of the Best Readers’ Choice Awards contest, organized by the Tryon Daily Bulletin.
Agrawal joined the Foothills Medical last fall to treat adult patients and manage chronic health issues they face.
“Foothills Medical Associates has made great strides recently to better serve our clients and community,” Viar said. “Dr. Agrawal’s arrival builds on our commitment to provide high quality, personalized, comprehensive healthcare to our community that will have a positive impact on their health.”
Agrawal brings experience with acute care, and with rheumatology and pulmonology treatment. He graduated from the Medical College and Hospital of Kolkata, West Bengal, India, with a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery. He is the recipient several academic honors, and he speaks English, Hindi and Bengali fluently.
The community is invited to drop by and meet the doctors and the staff during the Tuesday, June 26, event, which will be between 5-6:30 p.m.
