Former Isothermal dean joins board of directors at Steps to HOPE

Former college dean Fred Bayley joined the board of directors at Steps to HOPE in January of 2018.
Bayley retired as the dean of continuing education of Isothermal Community College 11 years ago. He has served on numerous nonprofit boards, helped start nonprofit organizations and has consulted in nonprofit planning.
He currently teaches online courses, including “How to Generate Income for Nonprofits.” His small business trains lifelong learning programmers and customer service leaders.
“Steps to HOPE is a valuable resource in ending domestic violence and sexual assault,” Bayley said, when asked why he wanted to join the board. “I want to help them achieve their mission.”
Steps to HOPE is the domestic violence and sexual assault treatment and prevention center serving western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.
