Page Cargill in recital at Holy Cross March 14

The Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross presents Page Cargill, soprano, in next week’s Bach’s Lunch Wednesdays at Noon Lenten Recital on Wednesday, March 14.
Cargill is a voice student at Converse College, where she is majoring in music education. She performs with the Spartanburg Festival Chorus, Converse Wind Ensemble, and Converse Chorale. She is a member of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church Choir.
Cargill will be accompanied by pianist Maria Menendez. The program will include three Browning songs, Op. 44 by Amy Beach; “Mondnacht” and “Waldesgespräch” (from Liederkreis Op. 39) by Robert Schumann; Charles Koechlin’s “Si tu le veux;” and selections from Exsultate, Jubilate K. 165, including the Alleluia, by W. A. Mozart.
