Glassy Mountain Fire Department (GMFD) held its annual “Fill the Boot” drive in September/early October collecting donations at Hwy. 11/Hwy. 25 and Hwy. 11/Hwy. 14, raising over $3,300 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
