Polk County Parks and Recreation has opened registration for the 2017 fall volleyball season, with three leagues available for girls between the ages of 7 and 15.

Registration will continue until Sept. 15.

Forms can be picked up at Stearns Gym in Columbus, either on the bulletin board out front or in the office.

Practices will begin around the first week in October with the season starting in mid-October and continuing until mid-November.

Some volleyball practices will overlap with youth soccer season, but games will not begin until soccer season is done as long as rain does not delay the completion of soccer season.
