Pea Ridge gathering Sept. 14

The next Pea Ridge community gathering will be Thursday, September 14, at 7 p.m. in the community center.

Area residents and interested persons are cordially invited to attend and bring finger foods and beverage to share. Ice and paperware will be provided. The center is located at 207 Big Level Road, 3.5 miles east of Mill Spring, just off Highway 108.

You will hear Ms. Sharon Decker, chief operating officer of the Tryon International Equestrian Center, give an update of events and activities at the center going on at the present as well as the future. Certain to be included in her presentation are the upcoming 2018 World Equestrian Games to be held there.

Reminders: You may bring your recyclables to the center any time all day Thursday, September 14 as the Polk County recycling containers will be located inside the tennis court fence for your drop-off. The truck will pick up later that day or early on Friday, September 15.
