The Polk County Board of Commissioners will hold a work session on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 5 p.m. in the Polk County Emergency Management Conference Room, Womack Building, Columbus, N.C.

Call to Order Work Session – Chairman Melton

Tourism Development Authority (TDA) – Melinda Massey, Travel & Tourism Director, and Vince Chelena, Executive Director of the North Carolina Travel Industry Association (NCTIA) will be present to discuss developing a TDA.

Occupancy Tax – Jana Berg, County Attorney will lead the discussion.
