Registration begins for PCHS-led summer girls basketball, volleyball camps

With summer vacation quickly approaching, a pair of athletic camps has been scheduled for the summer for interested girls in all grades. Registration has begun for The Lady Wolverine Basketball Camp and Polk County High School Volleyball Camp, set for June and July, respectively.

Girls Basketball

The annual Lady Wolverine Basketball Camp will be held June 19-21 at Polk County High School. Sessions will be held each day from 8:30 a.m. until noon. The camp is open to rising 1st-9th graders. There is a cost for the camp and the fee includes a T-shirt.

Registration and brochures are in the front office of all schools. Polk County High head coach Brandy Alm will lead the camp with help from PCHS assistant coaches and current and past players.

Volleyball

The annual Polk County High School Volleyball Camp will be held July 10-12 at Polk County Middle School. Students who will be in grades kindergarten through fifth grade next year can attend camp from 9-11 a.m. Students who will be in grades 6-8 will attend camp daily from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. while students in grades 9-12 will attend from 3-5 p.m.

There is a cost for the camp and the fee includes a T-shirt. Registration forms and camp brochures are available in the front office of all schools and the county office. Polk County High head coach Molly Hill will lead the camp with help from PCHS assistant coach Jon Ezell and current and past players.
