Two wins in three matches for LHS women’s soccer

If losses make teams and individuals stronger, Landrum’s women’s soccer team might have St. Joseph’s Catholic all figured out.

Problem is that St. Joe’s defeated the visiting Cardinals, 4-1, last Thursday, April 20. It was the second time St. Joseph’s has defeated the Cardinals this year, and the only loss the Cards suffered in a three-match week.

On April 18, the Cardinals, under head coach Cathy Riordan, blanked Greer Middle College High School, 4-0, at GMC. At Brashier Middle College High School on April 17, the Cardinals stopped their hosts, 2-0.
