Cardinals lose to Cavaliers of Christ Church

Landrum’s women held visiting Christ Church scoreless in the second half, and yielded just one goal in the first, in the Cardinals’ hard-fought 1-0 loss to the Cavaliers on Tuesday evening, April 11.

“The girls played hard, and represented Landrum well,” Cardinal coach Cathy Riordan emphasized.

The Cards are now 7-4 overall, and 2-1 in region play, after suffering their first region loss of the season. It was the last scheduled home match of the season, as the Cardinals’ next matches are all on the road  April 13 at Spartanburg Christian Academy, April 17 at Brashier Middle College, April 18 at Greer Middle College, and April 27 at Southside Christian.
