There will be a 3-on-3 youth basketball tournament at Stearns Gym on Saturday, April 8 beginning at 9 a.m. This event will be hosted by Chauncey Hill. Polk County Recreation will be assisting in the registration process.

There is a $10 entry fee per team; $15 per team on the day of. Registration will close at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the event. There are three age groups: 10 and under, 13 and under, 18 and under. Double elimination brackets. Admission will be charged at the door: $1 for children over 5, $2 for adults. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Winning teams in each age group will receive recognition in both Polk County Recreation media outlets, as well as in the Tryon Daily Bulletin. All proceeds from this event will go towards funding a Field Day on June 24 at Harmon Field.
