A Taste of Olives and Grapes at 158 N. Trade Street received funding to help offset the costs of repainting the exterior of the building as well as planting edible herbs in outdoor planters at their storefront.

Funding for projects by the TDDA is made possible through fundraising efforts, including the Tryon Beer Fest, and upcoming Tryon Rhythm and Wine Festival on May 6. You can assist with projects to revitalize downtown Tryon by attending fundraising events, purchasing a Taste of Tryon cookbook, making a tax deductible donation, or becoming a member of the Tryon Downtown Development Association.

TDDA also receives operational support from the Polk County Community Foundation and the Town of Tryon.

TDDA has limited funds available to assist businesses with façade improvements. For information, visitdowntowntryon.org/design or call 828-859-6484.
