TDDA announces upcoming events

The Tryon Downtown Development Association (TDDA) announces several upcoming events:

Evening Open Hours / Strolls: The First Thursday of each month from 5 – 7 p.m. and the third Sunday of each month from 1 – 3 p.m.

Tryon businesses will have longer open hours and activities/live music. This started March 2.

April Fool’s Day: Tryon will have a small scale April Fool’s day event on Saturday, April 1. More details to come. If you would like to donate old ties for “Tie One On” bring them by the TDDA office at the downstairs of Shops of Tryon or the Tryon Coffee House Co-op.

TDDA will work on hanging the ties Monday, March 6 at 6 p.m. at the Tryon Coffee House Co-op. Volunteers are welcome.

Rhythm and Wine Fest: TDDA will have a wine festival featuring local wines on May 6. More information to come soon. This will be similar to the Beer Fest, but with a focus on local food and wine, and jazz/blues music.
