Probable cause found in Brady rape, incest case

GREEN CREEK -Rape and incest charges against a Green Creek man are moving forward after a Polk County District Court judge found probable cause this week and set a court date in superior court.

Dan Lee Brady, 69, of Will Green Rd. in Green Creek, faces six counts of first-degree sex offense with a child under the age of 13, one count of statutory rape, one count of incest and two counts of statutory sexual offense with a child, according to Polk County Sheriff Office reports.

Probable cause was found this week with Brady’s next court date set for Polk County Superior Court on Oct. 12, according to court records.

Brady was arrested by the sheriff’s office in August and as of Wednesday, Sept. 14, was still being held in jail under a $200,000 bond. Brady’s initial bond was set at $1 million.
