Beginner through advanced pole vaulters from some 15 regional schools took advantage of the five-day camp run by Polk County High School pole vault coach Henry Weaver, at PCHS through the week of June 20.

Weaver’s son, Josey Weaver, a coach at Butler Junior College in Kansas, was among those assisting. Two of Polk County High School’s top performers, Jake Justice and Troy Lieberman, attended as did top performers from other high schools. Joining them were former local high school performers, now in college.

A second camp will be held July 11-13.
