Polk County District Court results for Feb. 17

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016 with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 139 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Darnell Levi Anderson was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Anderson was fined $30 and court costs.
Jakeb A. Arnott was convicted of second-degree trespassing. Arnott was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for time served.
Dwayne M. Atchison was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia, open container malt beverage/unfortified wine on county/city property and level three driving while impaired. Atchison was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 72 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Camron Houser Beam was convicted of possession of open container/consumption of alcohol in passenger area. Beam was to pay court costs.
Julie Ann Brockway was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Brockway was sentenced to seven days in jail with credit for time served.
Emmaleigh P. Calhoun was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Calhoun was to pay court costs.
Matthew T. Ciccarella was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Ciccarella was fined $40 and court costs.
Ilie Victor Cojocari was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Cojocari was fined $100 and court costs.
Olivia Ruth Condrey was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Condrey was to pay court costs.
William Daniel Cooke was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Cooke was fined $40 and court costs.
Terry Cribb Jr. was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Cribb was fined $40 and court costs.
Soloman Lorenzo Gordon was convicted of four counts of possession of stolen goods. Gordon was sentenced to 25 days in jail with credit for time served.
Joseph jean Gosselin was convicted of failure to maintain lane control. Gosselin was to pay court costs.
Adam Elliott Gossett was convicted of speeding 105 mph in a 65 mph zone. Gossett was fined $75 and court costs.
Phillip Ralph Gould was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Gould was fined $40 and court costs.
Brandon Michael Hahn was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Hahn was fined $30 and court costs.
Michael Eburg Hall was convicted of assault on a female. Hall was sentenced to one year supervised probation and court costs.
Brandon Scott Hudson was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Hudson was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.
Tiffany Lena Jones was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Jones was fined $40 and court costs.
Patrick Lamont King was convicted of level four driving while impaired. King was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Desmond Louis Landry was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Landry was fined $30 and court costs.
Emily Lynn Lands was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Lands was fined $40 and court costs.
Jamie Lynn McSwain was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. McSwain was to pay court costs.
Theodore Richard Ramsey was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Ramsey was fined $20 and court costs.
Kara D. Roach was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Roach was fined $40 and court costs.
Jose Damian Rodriguez was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Rodriguez was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Ricky Dean Shehan was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor and possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Shehan was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for time served.
Robert Allen Shelton was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Shelton was fined $100 and court costs.
Kyle David Shirlin was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Shirlin was to pay court costs.
Eric Wayne Snuffer was convicted of open container after consumption of alcohol first. Snuffer was fined $25 and court costs.
Autumn Nicole Stepp was convicted of simple assault. Stepp was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.
Nicole Michelle Taylor was convicted of trafficking opium or heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. Taylor was sentenced to one year supervised probation, 40 days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.
Trey Denzel Taylor was convicted of speeding 110 mph in a 70 mph zone. Taylor was fined $75 and court costs.
Nigel Clarke White was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. White was fined $40 and court costs.
Delores Williams was convicted of two counts of failure to appear. Williams was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for time served.
