While a shorthanded Polk County varsity wrestling team fell to visiting Owen, 54-24, on Thursday, Jan. 14, the Wolverines notched two wins by pin. Here, in the 285-pound class, the Wolverines’ Devin Panchyshyn, now 14-7 on the season, pins his Warhorse opponent. Polk’s Braden Miller also won by pin at 182, over Cameron Harper.

Wolverine head coach Phillip Miller is waiting for several wrestlers to return from illness and injuries, though the team is still short of competitors.
