Polk County High School’s homecoming was delayed a few days due to rain, but during a break in the downpour, Polk’s Wolverines took to the field and defeated the Madison Patriots decisively, 50-7, Monday, Sept. 28. The homecoming ceremony took place at halftime and featured the full court and the crowning of Homecoming Queen Leslie Doolittle left, by last year’s queen, Sarah Phipps.
