Landrum High School names Mike Gentry Athletic Director

The District One Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Mike Gentry to become the Athletic Director at Landrum High School.
Coach Gentry is a currently a math teacher and Offensive Coordinator for the football team as well as assistant boys’ basketball coach at Chapman High School.
Gentry will fill the opening created when John Cann assumed the Athletic Director position at T.L.Hanna High School earlier this year.
Coach Gentry attended Broome High School and Wofford College, where he was a member of the baseball team. He has extensive coaching experience in different sports and school classifications in the area.
Jason McCraw, Principal-Elect of Landrum High School, states: “We are excited about Coach Gentry becoming a member of Landrum Cardinal Athletics. We have a great athletic program at Landrum and are looking forward to continuing the tradition of excellence that has been established there.”
