Gymnasts from Foothills Gymnastics Academy in Tryon competed in the North Carolina A.A.U. State Qualifier from March 14 – March 16 in Winston-Salem, NC.
The gymnasts won a total of 40 awards. The gymnasts won 5 first place apparatus awards, plus one first place and two second place All-Around award honors.
Katrina Helton and Taylor Ashmore competed in Level 1, Catalina Helton and Gabriella Helton competed in Level 2, Susanna Ashworth and Marly Humphries competed in Level 3 and Chloe Smith and Ragan Ashmore competed in Level 4.
All of these gymnasts have qualified to compete in the North Carolina State meet, which is scheduled for April in Charlotte.
