Polk County District Court results for March 5

During Polk County District Court Wednesday, March 5 with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 243 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Frederick D. Barnes was convicted of speeding 92 mph in a 65 mph zone. Barnes was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $92 fine and court costs.
Kenneth Lee Forthman was convicted of shoplifting concealment goods. Forthman was fined $100 and court costs.
Patrick Dean Goodrich was convicted of felony probation violation. Goodrich was sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit for 23 days.
William Bradley Hannigan was convicted of level one driving while impaired, driving while license revoked and reckless driving to endanger. Hannigan was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 30 days in jail, 72 hours of community service, a $500 fine and court costs for driving while impaired and 18 months supervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs for driving while license revoked and reckless driving to endanger.
Flint O. Henderson was convicted of expired registration card/tag and four counts of attempt to alter title. Henderson was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Krista Jeanne Maki was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Maki was fined $92 and court costs.
John Dean McSwain was convicted of breaking and or entering and larceny after break/enter. McSwain was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation, 60 days in jail with credit for time served, a $300 fine and court costs.
Travis Lee Moore was convicted of possession of stolen motor vehicle. Moore was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation, six days in jail, a $300 fine and court costs.
Emily Chapman Rubio was convicted of simple possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor child abuse and simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance. Rubio was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs.
Adam Lee Sellers was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Sellers was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $25 fine and court costs.
Paul Curtis Tomko was convicted of driving while license revoked. Tomko was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.
