CARF International announced that Polk Vocational Services (PVS) has once again been accredited for a period of three years for its Community and Employment Services. This accreditation represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and reflects the dedication of the leadership and staff to provide quality services in a caring, supportive and safe environment. The CARF survey team conducted a comprehensive review of PVS and found that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable and accountable. PVS provides pre-employment training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Families, referral sources and community members interviewed during the survey process, see PVS as a leader among its peers. Polk Vocational Services demonstrated conformance to all CARF standards.
