Polk district court results

Aug. 27, 2012 session:
In Polk County District Court held Monday, Aug. 27, 2012 with Judge David K. Fox presiding, 166 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime (names are printed as they appear in court records):
Kelly Lynn Boyer was convicted of speeding 92 mph in a 65 mph zone. Boyer was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $92 fine and court costs.
Trent Clifton Caldwell was convicted of misdemeanor sell/distribute tobacco product to minor, misdemeanor sell malt beverage/unfortified wine to under 21- year old and overage person aid/abet possession. Caldwell was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Dakota Lee Carroll was convicted of misdemeanor weapons on educational property/aid. Carroll was sentenced to 48 hours of community service and court costs.
Lakelia Ann Dickey was convicted of no operator’s license. Dickey was fined $50 and court costs.
Charles William Holland was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Holland was fined $40 and court costs.
Monique Lynette Jones was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Jones was fined $60 and court costs.
William Randall Matson was convicted of speeding 57 mph in a 35 mph zone. Matson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
Cindy Sally Meffert was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Meffert was fined $55 and court costs.
Be Van Nguyen was convicted of carrying a concealed weapon. Nguyen was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Donna Lowe Oaks was convicted of level 4 driving while impaired. Oaks was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $350 fine and court costs.
Alexandr Panayotopulos was convicted of exceeding safe speed. Panayotopulos was fined $30 and court costs.
John Martin Pjura was convicted of speeding 95 mph in a 65 mph zone. Pjura was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $95 fine and court costs.
Roger K. Prevost was convicted of speeding 93 mph in a 65 mph zone. Prevost was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $93 fine and court costs.
Jose Fernando Rivera was convicted of driving while license revoked. Rivera was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
Metin Sakarcan was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Sakarcan was fined $40 and court costs.
Jennifer Marie Seals was convicted of speeding 92 mph in a 65 mph zone. Seals was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $92 fine and court costs.
Norman Matt Strohecker was convicted of speeding 90 mph in a 65 mph zone. Strohecker was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $90 fine and court costs.
Kenneth Carl Wright Jr. was convicted of failure to comply with community service. Wright was sentenced to 48 hours in jail with credit for time served.
