For those who enjoy contemporary Christian music, Tryon United Methodist Church will offer an additional Palm Sunday service this year at 6:30 p.m. on April 1 in the church sanctuary. The “Come to the Cross” service, focusing on the cross and its significance in the Christian faith, will include a narrative reading of the Passion scriptures and multiple ways of congregational response.
The music will be led by Broken Bread, the praise band that leads the early morning contemporary service each Sunday.
