The following are the results of the Tryon Country Club Men’s Play Day held Monday, March 7. The format was best net ball of four.

1. Rody Dayvault, Norm Johnson, Jack Saunders, John Hall – 28;

2. Sandy Elliot, Richard Barraud, Ernie Giannini, Rich Connolly – 30.

Closest to the hole #9 – Rody Dayvault.

Ladies and junior clinics start this week. The junior clinic series starts Wednesday, March 9 at 4 p.m. (one hour). Juniors ages 6 to 16 are welcome and members and guests are welcome. The clinics will continue throughout the season.

The “Fore Women Only” clinic series starts Thursday, March 10 at 10 a.m. (one hour) – open to members and guests. Both clinics will be taught by PGA professional Marc Brady and will continue throughout the season.
