At a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Tryon Jackie McGuire (left), major gifts officer for the Rotary Foundation in Evanston, Ill., spoke to the Rotarians on the various ways of contributing to the Rotary Foundation. The foundation was started in 1917 and has a long history of funding projects that improve health, eliminate hunger, provide scholarships and promote peace and understanding throughout the world.
