Tryon Rotary Club and Polk County High School recently co-sponsored a career fair for the schools 10 through 12 grade students as well as Polk County Virtual Early College students.
The fair provided information about all 16 U.S. recognized career clusters that were identified as areas of interests by the students in a survey taken prior to the fair. Some of the clusters featured included agriculture, food, and natural resources, architecture and construction, arts, audio visual technology and communications, business management and administration, education and training, marketing, science, technology and engineering among many others.
The career fair is held annually to help students identify personal interests, increase career awareness and learn about future careers.
