Through a grant from the Polk County Community Foundation in the amount of $3,000, the Columbus Fire Department was able to provide $50 food cards for 60 families in Polk County during the Christmas season.

The food cards were distributed through three campuses of the Polk County Schools which serve families who live in Columbus Township.
