Polk County High Schools concert band and percussion ensemble performed a holiday concert on Thursday evening, December 17, in the High Schools auditorium. The band donated all the proceeds and toy donations collected to Thermal Belt Outreach and children in the care of the Department of Social Services. The band collected money and toys for the agencies in order to provide help to community members in need. Director of bands Cindy Gilbert conducted the concert band. Norman Moore joined Gilbert in conducting the percussion ensemble. (photos submitted)
