Introduction to wilderness survival presentation at FENCE

Published 8:21 pm Thursday, April 21, 2016

Join us in the great room at Foothills Equestrian Nature Center on Saturday, April 23, at 2 p.m. for a free informational and educational presentation on wilderness survival. Our speaker for the presentation is Benjamin “Raven” Pressley, founder and instructor of the Way of Raven and EarthTek School of Survival Skills.

Raven also currently teaches outdoor survival skills for Blue Ridge Community College. He practices and teaches the skills of the past including primitive, survival and wilderness living skills practiced for generations by Native Americans and aboriginal peoples all over the world. Raven comes with a great deal of knowledge about the environment and how to successfully survive in the outdoors.

This presentation is made possible by the Kirby Endowment at the Polk County Community Foundation. FENCE is located at 3381 Hunting Country Road in Tryon. For more information about this or upcoming events visit fence.org or call us at 828-859-9021.
