On the third Thursday of the month at 4 p.m., teenagers gather at the Polk County Library in Columbus for a teen book club.
Led by Jen Pace, youth services librarian, and Amanda Edwards, library assistant, the club’s members read the most current popular titles in the young adult genre.
They also enjoy parties in keeping with the novel’s theme, viewing the movies made from the books, and connecting with authors through virtual author chats.
The group was discussing The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak, on July 17.
