Beginning sewing class at Landrum Library

Sharon Greene of “Alterations & Inspirations” in Landrum will conduct a four-week beginning Sewing class at the Landrum Library. Classes will be each Thursday night in April from 6 – 7:30 p.m. beginning April 3.
Greene has over 40 years of experience in the sewing field, and while much of her current business is alterations, she also makes more complex items like wedding dresses and prom dresses from start to finish.
She will begin with the basics of reading patters, fabric layout and cutting. Participants will complete a tote bag sewing project.
All materials will be provided, and there is no cost. Bring a portable sewing machine if you have one.
Sign up is required as there is a maximum class limit of 10 people.
