Margaret Bevans of the Polk County Extension Club dresses up the front doors of the Polk County Courthouse for Christmas.

The club spent most of Tuesday morning filling the courthouse with Christmas spirit as they adorned the banisters with garland and ribbons, decorated two Christmas trees and placed candles in the windows.

The Polk County Extension Club has three branches – Saluda, Peniel and Stony Knoll.

Nancy Johnson is the current president and will hand over the reins to Anita Summey in 2014.
