This year marks the 20th anniversary of the First Presbyterian Chamber Singers of Spartanburg. (photo submitted).

Chamber Singers from First Presbyterian in Spartanburg will perform at Landrum Presbyterian on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 3 p.m.

The First Presbyterian Chamber Singers is comprised of 29 professional and amateur musicians from the church and Spartanburg area who are interested in preparing and performing sacred choral music representing a wide variety of periods and styles.

The singers are especially known for their Christmas music.

This year marks their 20th anniversary as performers at the Biltmore House’s Candlelight Christmas tours. They also staff the church’s popular Moravian Love Feast each year and have performed Christmas concerts at Spartanburg’s Chapman Center for the Arts.

In the spring of 2015 they will give the South Carolina premiere of Rosephanye Powell’s The Cry of Jeremiah.
