Landrum Garden Club visits Avery Creek Nursery

Landrum Garden Club recently held their meeting at Avery Creek Nursery in Columbus, N.C. Mrs. Jerry Attwood was our hostess. The cake she served was delicious and decorated in a most befitting way. The cake was purchased through Avery Creek Nursery.

We received instructions on how to successfully plant decorative pots for decks and porches. We had a lovely time and found many beautiful flowers and plants to put in our personal gardens, as well as plants for our planting project at the Green Creek Community Center. Mrs. Peggy Armstrong, Mrs. Lee Barker, Mrs. Linda Brown and Mrs. Linda Cantrell are in charge of this project.

A brief business meeting was conducted. Our president, Mrs. Francine Coster, will host our next meeting.
