Invasive removal workday at FENCE; Volunteers wanted!

Join us at Foothills Equestrian Nature Center on Thursday, March 17, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. We will be working mostly on the paved Wildwood Trail at FENCE to continue our battle with invasive plants. We will work for about three hours removing invasive plants such as Privet, Honeysuckle, Bittersweet, and Tree of Heaven.

Snacks, work gloves, and some tools will be provided but if you have your own tools please bring those along. Don’t forget to dress for the weather and bring water. We hope that you can help us to combat these invasive plants!

FENCE is located at 3381 Hunting Country Road in Tryon, North Carolina. For more information about this workday visit our website at www.fence.org or call us at 828-859-9021.
