Goodwill hosting major job fair

An upcoming job fair hosted by Goodwill Industries of North Carolina will include some of the largest employers in Asheville. The Goodwill Job Fair will be held Thursday, May 17, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., at Goodwill Career Connections Center, 1616 Patton Avenue, Asheville, NC 28806.

 

Employers scheduled to attend the fair include: The Omni Grove Park Inn, Biltmore, Mission Health, Ingles, Longhorn Steakhouse, Cracker Barrel, McDonald’s, Waffle House, Maxim Healthcare, Hampton Inn & Homewood Suites, Eliada Homes and the City of Asheville.

 

One-on-one interviews will be conducted on site. Job seekers are asked to dress professionally and bring copies of their resumes. Goodwill’s Career Connections Center also offers free help with resume preparation, career counseling and other services, as well as computers for online job searching and printing.
