Friends of the Polk County Public Library to hold annual meeting

The Friends of the Polk County Public Library members will hold their annual meeting on Jan. 12 at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Main Library.

After light refreshments, there will be installation of new officers and a short business meeting. A musical program will follow featuring Lance Smith, associate pastor for the Congregational Church of Tryon, and Mike Weathers, playing banjo and guitar, and telling stories – back by popular demand! All Polk County citizens are welcome to attend. Those wishing to join the Friends of the Library may do so at the meeting.
