The annual March concert presented by the Foothills Music Club, Inc. will be held March 10, at 3 p.m. at the Tryon Presbyterian Church on Harmon Field Road. The concert will include organ, piano, and vocal selections, as well as musical ensembles with flute, viola da gamba, and recorder.  The FMC Ladies Chorus will also perform.

One of the featured performers will be vocalist, Brenda Quilling. A local voice teacher, Quilling received her master of music degree from the University of Southern California. She was a Metropolitan Opera national finalist who went on to have a 13-year career singing leading soprano roles with major European and American opera houses and orchestras.

The concert is open and free to the public. Donations to the FMC Young Musicians Scholarship Fund will be accepted. The FMC is a 501(c)3 organization; all gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by the IRS.
